Hi! I believe that you are capable and deserving of living a meaningful and fulfilling life. Let’s work together to determine what that looks like for you and work through the barriers that may be in your way of reaching your fullest potential. Coming from a humanistic perspective, I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I would be honored to travel this journey alongside you. As an LPC Associate, I am currently under the supervision of Emilee Aschenbrenner, MS., LPC-Supervisor.

My personal journey into mental health began straight out of high school, when I decided to go to college and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I graduated from Lamar University in 2016, and was eager to continue learning and growing in my love for mental health. After being accepted into the counseling program at the University of North Texas, I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to complete my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Throughout my education, I’ve developed a passion in working with adults, children, and couples.

I enjoy using art, sand try, and other expressive techniques as part of therapy.

My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence and family issues, communication and boundary concerns, self-esteem, women’s issues, gender and sexuality, and parenting concerns.

When I’m not in the counseling room, you can usually find me cooking something, creating something, or watching something on TV. I have a tendency to wear fuzzy socks and drink lots of coffee, and I love to be around my friends and family.
